Behind the Game

A Daily Ritual for History Lovers

Dawn of Time was built for anyone who enjoys maps, old paintings, geography, and the stories of the people who shaped our world.

Fair and Recognizable

Every figure in the game is drawn from open public knowledge on Wikidata, Wikipedia, and Wikimedia Commons. We carefully review every entry so coordinates, dates, roles, and portraits are historically accurate and fair.

Private by Design

No accounts, no logins, and no tracking. Your streak, statistics, and game history stay stored right in your browser.

Public Commons & Attribution

Every portrait is in the public domain or licensed under open Creative Commons terms. You can find direct links to the original image and license on every solved puzzle.

Report a factual error

History is a careful discipline. If you spot a date, place, role, or attribution that looks wrong, email ahsanriaz8000@gmail.com and it will be reviewed against the sources.
